About Us

Stacie Davis serves as the Nurse at The Children’s Center of Ohio and has been a dedicated member of the organization since October 2023. With more than two decades of experience in emergency medical services, long-term care, correctional healthcare, and residential treatment, Stacie brings exceptional clinical expertise and compassionate care to her role.

Stacie graduated from Southwestern High School in 1990 and later attended Buckeye Hills Career Center, where she became a licensed Emergency Medical Technician in 1998. She returned to Buckeye Hills Career Center and completed the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program in 2006. Her extensive professional certifications include Medication and IV Therapy, American Red Cross CPR/First Aid, OCCRA Trauma-Informed Care Levels 1 and 2, Wound Care, Alzheimer’s Specialist, and Correctional Nurse certifications.

Her professional background includes service as an EMT with Gallia County EMS and Life Critical Care Transport, as well as nursing leadership roles at Scenic Hills Nursing Center, where she advanced to Nursing Supervisor, and at Brevard County Jail, where she served as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. These experiences have strengthened her ability to provide high-quality medical care in complex and high-responsibility environments.

In her current role, Stacie manages the QuickMAR system, coordinates medication ordering and pharmacy communications, schedules medical, dental, vision, vaccination, and specialty appointments, and conducts monthly provider visits. She completes nursing assessments, admission physical exams, treatment plan documentation, and incident reports, while maintaining accurate medical records and physician orders.

Stacie is also responsible for staff and youth drug screening, staff training, emergency on-call coverage, and maintaining medical equipment and treatment carts. She leads nursing groups, provides weekly physical activity programs, and works closely with caseworkers, guardians, and healthcare providers to address medical needs and concerns.

Through her professionalism, dedication, and commitment to holistic care, Stacie plays a vital role in supporting the health, safety, and overall well-being of the youth served by The Children’s Center of Ohio.
